I’ve got ride of my cold, so time for more posts !!!
I’ve not test this new product yet but hope to test it soon, just take a look…
The kit includes:
KZ Tail featuring the Plug N’ Play motor!
Now it only takes seconds to replace your tail motor.
KZ Tail featured upgrades:
KZ Alaska’s Plug N’ Play Tail Motor
Solid Carbon Fiber Tail Boom
KBDD Tail Rotor Blade in your choice of 6 different colors
Aluminum Motor Mount
Rubber Insulated Wiring
You can see a video about howto in the next link
While waiting for the Brushless setup to arrive I’m gonna make a review about the Miracle Mart MCPx carbon fiber main frame.
You can use the stock main frame for the brushless conversion but that mod require removing some of the plastic
Mod picture from Daryoon’s blog
So a great option it’s the carbon fiber main frame. You can find those frames from 29,9$ to 60$. I’ve compared some of them and I think Xtreme Production from Miracle Mart one its a bang for the buck.
The frame comes semi-assembled, but I decided to remove all the parts and star from scratch.
The pack includes:
- Top an bottom precise aluminium CNC parts.
- Carbon fiber side frames.
- Plastic parts for mounting the canopy, servos and main board.
- Detailed manual.
- Mounting hardware (with some xtra screws).
- And of course, cool decals 😉
Miracle Mart CF frame
Assembly it’s a piece of cake, I was only in trouble with one of the parts since I didn’t see it correctly in the manual…
I’ve not put all the screws on the frame because I prefer to wait for the brushless parts.
The CF frame weights only 0.3 grams more than stock one but that 0.3 extra grams are worth, your heli will be more rigid.
Note: Take care about screws metric, there are two measures, almost the same size M1.2×2.5 & M1.2×3 so pay attention
Manual and metrics
Some pictures with the Hisky Neon canopy, cooool 🙂
Stock blue one…..
Next step…..Main rotor CNC metal upgrades…… 😉

Want to take out the slop? This kit it’s the solution (thanks John for giving me the oportunity to test the kit )
KZALASKA sells this kit for the MCPx but since MCPx and the V922 have a lot of parts in common they could be used whitout mod. anything.
It takes only a few minutes to install, you get 13 O-Rings (Silicone) just for 3,50$.
I’ve installed them into my V922 and the results are great!, more control on stick movements,They take out the play at the ball joints reducing vibrations and give smoother stick inputs
Here are the pictures…:
The kit comes with clear installation pictures so the process its a piece of cake.
The O-rings out of the plastic bag.
First O-Ring in place.
They fit perfectly.
I have not used the skids O-Rings because I’ve found another use for ’em… Take the slop out on my V911 !
If you own a V911 you’ve noticed that it has a big “pendulum” effect, using the O-Rings that effect will be reduced a lot, another good mod to reduce the effect it’s moving the battery forward to move the CG.
Take a look at www.kzalaska.com for more pictures.
O-ring kit takes the slop out of the blade MCPX’s Head Upgraded Dampners improve the blade dampening between the Blade Grips and the Rotor Head Adds GRIPTION to your skids so you don’t slide much while spooling up on the ground
3ea 002 silicone O-rings for the servo links
4ea 001 silicone O-rings for the rotor links
2ea 003 black buna rubber O-rings for the dampners
4ea 002 black buna rubber O-rings for the skids
Hi, I would to thank John from KZ Alaska Upgrades for his sponsorship
I’m gonna post reviews of those great upgrades (MCPx Head and Skid O-ring mod kit, solid carbon fiber tail boom…) upon arrival
Do you want to take the slop out? Improve response? Stay tuned for the reviews !
