The V911 it’s a bit lazy flying forward…. A good idea to improve the fast forward flight involves changing the CG putting the battery more closer to the nose, but if you don’t want to modify the CG you can try my new mix. The idea it’s to put more thrust on the main rotor when you push the elevator stick. With the stock program when you push the elevator stick the main blades go down a few rpm so the heli goes forward and lose some altitude, with my program you will compensate that effect.
The program has been made with Eepe and runs on Er9x and it has not been tested on Open9x
Here it’s the Mix section:
Mixers
CH01 +100%AIL
* +100%CH6
CH02 +100%ELE
* +100%CH6
CH03 +125%THR Switch(ID0) Curve(c1)
+6%ELE Switch(ELE)
+10%ELE Switch(GEA)
R +125%THR Switch(!ID0) Curve(c2)
R -100%HALF Switch(THR)
CH04 +100%RUD
* +100%CH5
CH05 R +50%P1 Offset(100%)
CH06 R +50%P3 Offset(100%)
As you can see above the ELE switch puts a 6% more thrust when activated and the GEA puts 10%. You can try it and adjust yourself to your needs, the trick it’s to maintain the forward flight without making the heli going up due the increase of thrust. Try different values and find the perfect one. If you increase the value a lot the heli goes up quickly so try to use 1% increments when trimming.
Try and comment 🙂
Hi there,
Sadly, your link doesn’t seem to be working 😦
I get an error from Box saying:
“This shared file or folder link has been removed.”
Could you perhaps look into this as I’d really like to give your template a try in my er9x 🙂
Hi !,
